Hmm... I always had this idea of temporal displacement, which causes someone who time travels (like, say, the Terminator, or Chrono, or, Marty Mcfly, or Link, or, uh... I don't know, Bill and Ted?) had a kind of temporal immunity that was caused them to exist slightly out of sync with the temporal wave length, and thus, even if they change the future, they can still exist even if they should be written out of history, and thus allowing them to avoid that temporal paradox Adramma mentioned.

But I hate Chaos Theory. And fuck the Butterfly Effect... not the theory, the movie... fuckin' Ashton Kutcher...

Hey, just because I don't watch it doesn't mean I don't see the appeal. Probably because I watched the original series, along with ninja turtles, transformers, and a bunch or other shows most people have never seen aside from more recent remakes (the 2003 ninja turtles was okay, though...)

Thanks for being so open-minded Zombs :)

It's one of the things I like about you, but please god don't compare this series to the one when you were a kid... It was so bad that even fans of My Little Pony just push it into the darkest recesses of our mind. :p

Hay, most of those remakes I grew up with so watch it. Now as for the my little pony thing, I also don't watch it but I see the appeal and i'm not going to lie, I enjoy the art of it and what people do with it.

Alright, the solo I promised is written! And it's good. A brief overview of what my characters recovered (save the Exalts because they weren't in the right room at the time), a conversation with a doubter, and the power of the mind. Plus a few easter eggs, including the significance of the title. Let's see if you can relate it to the content of the post. (Hint: The colors are important)

Only Pixy will probably get it though.

Do you mind if I study your brain to attempt to understand how the mind of a brony works?
Draws scapel and hovers menacingly.

Um... It's a good show.

I mean, even if you removed the ponies from it entirely, we'd still watch it because it'd still be a really good show. Great characters, Great character development, Great morals that Kids and many Adults can relate to, and it gets away with lots of Inside jokes that only older fans would get. In short, if you can get past the admitted girlyness of the first few episodes of the first season, it gets really good. :)

But...but there are good characters and character development in shows without ponies. :p

So? Sure, it's girly, and I know other show have great characters too, but why should I limit what great shows I can watch just because everyone says ponies are only for little girls?

This video might explain it a little better than I can, but it pretty much says the same major points. The only reason Ponies are for girls and Transformers are for guys is because people say they are, that's become the norm. Just like how people don't like Homosexuality or the idea of a Stay at home Dad or a girl wearing jeans. These ideas were controversial and strange at one point, but now they are starting to become more accepted as the norm now that they are becoming more common. I don't like the idea of people telling me I can't watch a really good show just because it was originally made for little girls. Ask yourselves this guys, how many of you liked Powerpuff Girls when you were younger even though it was originally made for girls? If you did, you were defying conventional gender roles.

I don't care that it's girly, it's kiddy. I guess I just learned that having friends is cool at the age I was supposed to.

Even though I poke fun at it, I don't really care, everyone has a guilty pleasure of some kind...just most people don't make it into an identity.

Do we have to defy all gender specific stuff, though? We're not Sweden. Men and women are different, both physically and mentally. I'm not the average guy, I don't play sports or any of that crap. But I'm not hating on that show, I just have no vested interest in it. And what Ramma said.

I liked the power puff girls to, loved the characters the villains. I love the uniqueness of the show, I also one episode of my little pony and I will admit it wasn't bad.

Eh, I believe you can mentally be as masculine or feminine as you feel/want. Physically is pretty clearly different though. :p

Well, I'm not sure what else to write for my characters. :p

That's one reason.
I'm feeling that.
Look at all I've done so far in the past couple of days:
“How’s Uncle Sam?” Penny asked as her father sat down next to her. She frowned when he nearly spat out the water he’d been drinking. “What, did I say something bad?”
I know. Productive.
