...MEC surgery confirmed, then?
Sorry. I'm a bit tetchy right now. I think I could do with a kinetic strike ......MEC surgery confirmed, then?
Is it pitchfork time yet? I have a new one. I want to fork some pitches. He better hurry up before legions of angry peasants storm his castle with pitchforks and torches.
Uh...sorry, I got ahead of myselfI'll just stop your mass justification there and say you asked for a review and first impression. I gave it but it is just my opinion, you don't have to convince me of anything. I just have my preferences when it comes to a literary rp journal, it is always the characters that matter. Good luck.
So would you say you're here to get money and fork some pitches? Is it pitchfork time yet? I have a new one. I want to fork some pitches.
You get a 10-20 dollar lump sum on sign up and UNLIMITED access to the Xcom HQ treadmill and bar.Yeah, what'd the pay be like at XCOM, anyway?
For most soldiers, free unlimited booze would be the ultimate benefit. You get a 10-20 dollar lump sum on sign up and UNLIMITED access to the Xcom HQ treadmill and bar.
Make your own treadmill with...er...a bed?Hey, sounds like a pretty good deal to me. But only one treadmill for the whole HQ?
Yeah, what'd the pay be like at XCOM, anyway?

If the earlier theory in this thread happened, that Earth would revert to "civ stage" - everyone warring for plasma weapons and elerium - it wouldn't surprise me if XCOM branched off with or without the council and used their stocks in a "national superpower" capacity to keep the peace. Even if X country managed to scrape up some alien corpses and plasma weapons, they'll think twice about landgrabbing when you might have MECs and crazy bastards with two hearts dropping onto your army.
And in this Civ stage one major concern is how to deal with the criminal element that would rise swiftly in such a dystopian future of rebuilding after the massacre of law enforcement personnel across the world. If only there were a head of a criminal organization that was able to work in conjunction with XCOM to keep other criminals in check to allow the rebuilding to happen more smoothly. Of course this would mean that XCOM would be elevating this criminal head to an interesting level of status of legitimacy in the public eye as well as likely have to grant a great number of concessions in terms of finance and punishment to allow it to grow as they would prefer. But of course, XCOM doesn't have anyone with those kinds of contacts since they are a completely above-the-board and straight arrow organization, right?
