So my secduial has changed again, so now i'm working on Saturdays again. But i'm pretty sure this will be temporary.

Got a new collab up. This month's credit bill paid. Picked up a small Blizzard from DQ on the way home from work. Medical insurance is being looked into again. Got a full tank of gas for only $30. Found my brother's cat sleeping on my bed which is cool because he usually doesn't want anything to do with me.

All together... not a terrible day even with work. I even snapped at the asst. manager and got away with it.

I'm unsure if it was forgotten or not, but Merenu mentioned that cutting a deal for the Avatars isn't about saving her own skin. It's about the survival of her species, should the unthinkable happen and we manage to kill Vekinte.

I'm fine with confirming - word of God - that she's telling the truth. 'If the full might of the Protectorate can't beat XCOM how would a betrayal change anything?' If we win the war that's her thought process.

If Merenu completed her side of the bargain and Korelyive... I dunno, laid eggs in the Avatars or something... that would be really bad. Because consider something: you can kill the scientists involved in the rebirth of the free Broodkin, you can steal the Elders means of enduring as a species... but Korelyive has no means of killing them all in one fell swoop.

And if she ensured they wouldn't be able to endure, she'd be reigniting the war. The scariest enemy is the one that has nothing left to lose. If the entire Ethereal species was doomed, they'd be keen on taking us into the void with them.

Not if they didn't find out there was something wrong with the Avatars until it was too late.

But yeah, Korelyive is planning on doing something to the Avatars, but she's unsure if her idea would even work. I'll make sure to throw it by you. Also such an idea would have to go through Atka too.

I do want to remind everyone that we're reaching the end of the story. If there's any collab you're burning to do with someone else, seek that out while you still can. I'd like to fight Zemsis on Sunday, so anyone that can make it then is welcome to come.

Due to the nature of the mission, I might be able to let you take a bite out of the crew of Jupiter's ship as a prelude to the fight with Zemsis himself. We could work on that earlier in the day.
