So anyways, I suppose this would have been the part where I announce that, due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be able to participate very much anymore in this RP, and I would now have a posting frequency that makes Taxor look like... something that posts a lot. But due to more circumstances beyond my control, I can't make that announcement.

Instead, what I will say is that I'm going to have more free time than ever soon. Not that it's ever really capitalized on, but whatever. Might as well get it out there, at least.
No worries buddy. If they are out of your control they are out of your control.

Warning to all that the mission I am supposed to post tomorrow will be posted before you all wake up as I am disappearing for 3 days. If anyone has something to post that takes place prior to the 30th, do so before you go to sleep today.

So that was 11 posts. I may need to tone it down a little in the future.

By the way guys, I have a lot of collab ideas for a lot of people. I haven't followed up on any because I have got fuck all in the sleep department the past few days, but hopefully I'll be more rested tomorrow. Don't be surprised if there are a storm of collab offers in PM tomorrow from me. ^_^ A sidenote about that is that I may wait a little before doing another mission. Tax's op revealed new information and posed new questions (like the fact that everyone is some degree of psionic) that deserve attention before anything else big happens. And so on.

So just posted an solo with Luke and Lilith, hope you enjoy it.
Just as a note, I'm gonna have one of my assitants make a small amendment to the situation: no one was in the room when Luke initially attacked LIlith. Don't think you want the Commander to get involved in family matters (since from her perspective if she found out about their fight it would appear unprovoked... unless Luke divulges his secrets to another - something I don't think was intended).

I'm sure you guys have noticed that I've been silent for a bit. There is a good reason for this. Awhile ago I found out that I had been wrong about the date of the other vacation I had this summer. It's in a bit less than a week as of now, instead of at the end of summer as I thought. This posed a problem for me, one that I've spent the past few days thinking about. Ultimately, my solution is thus:

I'm going to be gone for three weeks in the time surrounding my vacation once I've left. I'll get the exact dates later. But to compensate for my absence, I'm in the process of constructing a 'month zero' of sorts to keep the story going in my absence. Essentially, it can be summarized as thus:

Part of the Avenger's crew (mainly soldiers) will be deploying to Chile to assist a powerful, coordinated Resistance group there with a couple of different things. They will be lead by Bradford (MarineAvenger) and the leader shall likely be played by Zombie. I'll get you more details once plans are finalized, but I have the concepts for all the missions involved in there on hand and anything that I don't outline the two above will fill in as the people in charge of that extended operation. It's going to be a lot like the Siege of New Delhi in format, for those of you that remember that. Meanwhile, I might do some stuff with the people left on the Avenger when I have time, but I can't promise anything - hence why I'm letting Zmby and Marine handle the stuff in Chile.

Those of you that I haven't already consulted, tell me which of your characters you'd like to send on this extended op and which ones you'd like to leave at home. Note that the ones left on the Avenger aren't frozen, but they might not have many collab options.

You guys will know when the extended operation officially starts. I'll have an announcement post in-story that goes over the details of what we'll be doing as well as the roster of people going. About that though, I wanted to ask for a bit of advice. I'm torn between just doing the Extended Op on the main thread to keep everything together, but it might reduce confusion with any solo posts I'll be throwing up on the Avenger during my absence if it had its own thread.

So I'll put it to a vote. Tell me whether you think the Chile Arc should be in the "LoE" thread or a "New" thread.

But there's a catch. In addition to that, I miss people talking on here more often - it brings us together as a community. So in order for me to consider your vote, add something underneath it. Talk about stuff in the story that interests you, or something related to videogames or something else entirely that has caught your eye lately. (Just no politics, religion, yadayadayada you know the drill with volatile topics)

I think the mission should be in LoE, mostly to keep thing together. Pulse it keeps things together and you can go over, the main storry in the missions all in one thread.

Now as to what I been up to lately, ever since the Warcraft move I been interested in the Warcraft lore. So I been watching a lot of lore viedoes on wow, and I must say the story and characters are very interesting.

I also been thinking about bringing back the Van Dams, now i'm just thinking about it doesn't mean that i'm going to. But ive been giving them a new name, like the iron blood battalion and they live in Canada and carved a good amount of territories for themselves.

Logistical issue is that if not almost all of them were wiped out, most of them still were. So they'd have to either induct new people or just be part of larger Resistance groups (not enough time to raise enough kids in the span of 20 years)

Yeah, there's a lot of cool stuff in there - just sucks that with their newer xpacks and stuff they've dropped the ball to the point where most interest has been lost. I think it stems from Blizzard's writers these days having a REALLY hard time looking at characters in anything other than black and white.

I vote we keep it together. Fragmenting everything will just complicate matters. I don't think keeping it together will result in any confusion re: when posts are from Chile or the Avenger (provided people mark them as such, which we already do).

I'll second the motion that we need to talk here more. I miss the bants, fellas.

What have I been up to? A whole lot of nothing, honestly. After a hectic few weeks, and making the mission, I've sort of burnt myself out a little in terms of how much energy I'm willing to invest in my gaming. I'm taking a break from games like XCOM, Overwatch, CSGO and basically anything requiring a large amount of thought or attention, and I've mostly been playing things like DOOM, Warframe, and (bizarrely) Civ 5. I'm getting the energy to go back to my usual rotation of games, but for now I'm content to just murder things without much thought or effort and spread Judaism as Germany. This is probably also why I haven't posted anything since my mission - aside from lack of ideas (I did have one, but that's already been covered in a collab), I can't be bothered to sit down and write stuff myself. Should be recovered from my bout of excessive laziness soon, though. Then normal service will resume.
