Today on "A Day in the Life of an Insane Family," our hero Joe, or to his friends, ZS53, returned home from an 8 hour shift at work to discover that, while at work, his mother brought his nephew to look at pets, bought him a cat, and they lost the cat, all before he got home.

So he walks in the house to find everyone yelling, is yelled at for information he doesn't have, is yelled at for asking questions, yelled at for not immediately caring about the cat he has never even seen before and didn't know about moments earlier, yelled at for making a passing comment about it being 'oh well' if the cat didn't return because it cost $100 (please note that ZS53 has personally owned about a dozen cats, and by the means he has received them, he has paid about an average of $1.66 per cat, so he shouldn't be expect to know how much it cost), and finally, was yelled at for 'yelling at' and talking down to his mother, despite the fact that she has talked to her 30 year old son like he was a child since he was ten, and it gets more disheartening for him with each... passing... year...

COOL STORY, HUH!?! Anyway, that first solo has been done for a while, but something... I can't imagine what... distracted me. I'll post it as soon as I get a chance to edit it.

Yeesh, you have my sincerest sympathies. Hopefully things get better soon-ish enough!

You know... If your mom bought a cat and lost it before it even got back to the house... Maybe she's not a very responsible pet owner. :/

I mean... I dunno how that's even possible unless they went somewhere else on the way back.

Now, they got it back to the house, it just ran out when my brother's girlfriend's son wasn't looking... at least we're assuming that is who let him out. Not like anyone is admitting anything.

Of course, I somehow share the blame, despite, you know... not even knowing of the cat's existence until it was already picked out, paid for, brought home, and lost...

People just take it out on others when they're upset, they probably don't mean it. :)

Geshtal (who's name is a reference to the character that inspired Korra) is Korra's older brother, by the way. Not sure if I ever specified that. How much older? Eh... guess it would depend on how long the equivalent of Tamearin high school is... let's say he's... four years older. 25.

And I feel better now. Just... for a while there...

I loved the reference to Aribeth, even if she was painted in a bad light. XD

Meanwhile he just posted an episode with an all-heavy team. Maybe it's a good thing he isn't doing a RP after all.
All heavies? Please tell me it was an easy mission for the sake of leveling people up.

Wait... he's on impossible, right? I've never played that difficulty, is there a such thing as an easy mission on impossible?

Nope. And it's the Van Doorn mission. So far he's just blown everything up with grenades, save for a thin man and a sectoid. (so 50% of what he's fought)
