As somebody who once slept for thirty or so hours straight once (naturally heavy sleeper + pain meds, always fun), I can say with some certainty that your problem is that you problem woke up in the middle of a sleep cycle. Generally you want to time your waking so that it comes at the beginning or end of your 90-minute sleep cycle, as otherwise you'll be quite groggy because your brain got interrupted and didn't get a full bit of rest. Sort of like if you were sitting peacefully at home, and then suddenly you have to drive a cross-country road trip with no time to prepare. You're gonna be a bit off until you take some time to adjust.

That does make sense, my sleeping cycle is messed up too, usally go 7 hourse later to sleep then I usally should. Thank you I will try to get that back to normal, hopefully that will keep me awak during the day so I can focus on my exam. ^^

Pixy is probably right. I have sleep apnea, which causes my throat muscles to relax too much, closing my airway. My mind unconsciously wakes m up, without me ever realizing it, to fix the problem, and it interrupts my sleep cycle.

I just don't sleep well at all. I am a night person and also a very, very heavy sleeper so getting up real early in the morning is the biggest pain in the world.

Yay! Another three characters done. With the one with Gem, that's seven. That just leaves three more, who will all likely be in one post.

Hay guys, I have a question for all of you. Currently I'm kinda going through a mental block, Like i'm thinking of things to write but I don't feel like writing them or know how to write them properly. If that makes scene, so do you guys have any advice for this?

Allow me to answer your question with a metaphor.

Visualize your ability to write as a piece of rope with a knot tied in the middle, and your goal is to get the knot undone. It seems obvious to just sit down and force yourself to keep writing, but all that does is the equivalent to pulling at both ends of the rope, making the knot tighter and fraying the ends of the rope. But surely, you might say, this technique must work given time? Well, I'm a frayed knot.

On the other hand, if you just sit back, take a decent length break, watch some Netflix or something, this is the equivalent of letting the rope relax, pushing the ends together to make the knot larger- and then viola! You can slip one end through the knot, and it's gone, allowing you to work unimpeded until the next knot comes along.

If I may add something.

Try writing on your phone. Yeah, writing on a computer is more convenient. But you have your phone on you all the time. So, when that inspiration comes at a bad time, like, say, when you're on a train or in the doctors office or in the middle of a buffalo wing eating contest in Kentucky with Michelle Obama, Sean Schemmel, Christopher Walken, an anthropomorphic rhinoceros, the Blue Man Group, and that actor you really like from that movie you really like but you're too nervous to talk to him because you can't remember his name...

Um... what was I... oh yeah, you can whip out your phone on start writing, then just stick it on your computer.

...or think of ideas in the shower or while falling asleep. I do that to...

I agree with Pixy here, being such a talented man like me where I have to use my imagination in my daily hobbies leaves me standing in front of a brick wall more than I want to. A picture appears in my mind, but my hand can't flow with the motion today. A story poops into my head, but once I start writing I feel like I've never learned any other word than the once from my childhood, leaving the story uninteressting or bland. Or I want to model something and when I start I feel like I've never modeled anything before. All in all we all have those blocks and like Pixy said, taking a rest is the best thing you can do. Forcing yourself to improve/work only makes it worse.

Whelp, almost time for bed. And, because I am a one note... wait... Cats... Zombies... Batman... JRPGs from the 90s... four note character, here is my closing post, which made me smile from start to finish.

I have a really odd sleeping schedule. I sleep for 6-7 hours in intense sleep to the point where it is close to imppssible to wake me up but then I wake up and feel completely refreshed.:D

Some good advice here. Another thing you can do: try writing in the sense of alternate dimensions. For instance, everytime you think of something, try imagining what that thing would be like upside down, and how this inverted sense would change their normal senses. Then think of an opposite clone, an evil twin, of this inverted thing would act. This anti-inverted-thing would do everything backwards and upside-down than the normal thing, who would be forwards and right-side-up. The first would be inverted, the second would be backwards, and the original would be normal, whereas the last would be counter-inverted from the original, which would make for an opposite-opposite point of view, both inverted and the same as the original, which is neither opposite nor inverted.

If you're confused by this, that should make your previous block feel insignificant, and now you can write.

When will the bio page be going up, out of curiosity?
Like zmby said, another week or two. I'm guessing the 15th or so.

Gemini glances at the last bio page. And for your information its probably best to let Zombie post first this time so that the essential staff members are not lost inbetween your five and my mound of characters.

Im not sure if we have a head engineer or not...

expect some balance changes to be coming to the information about MEC Trooper gear. Did some thinking and realized that the support armor needs to have its purpose defined and buffed, some info about limitrd use subsystems needs to be added, and the Vindicator is useless trash compared to the heavy combat armor thst does everything better.
