Additons or amendments

MEC Subsystems:
Kinetic Strike Module - Alloy and chryssalid claws on a fist extension for a MEC trooper. Infinite use, short cooldown.
Flamethrower - Sends scorching heat upon your foes.3 charges, one extra per item slot.
Grenade Launcher - Fires a plasma HE grenade or alloy AP grenade a fair distance. Contains two rounds. 1 extra per item slot (Additional rounds not affected by grenadier).
Proximity Mine Launcher - A launcher that deploys explosive plasma mines that detonate upon the approach of an enemy. Great for laying traps. 3 mined by default. 1 extra per item slot (additional rounds not affected by grenadier).
Restorative Mist - A healing spray of nanites; an area of effect medkit. Single use, 1 extra charge per item slot (additional charges not affected by field medic).

Electropulse - Causes an EMP pulse to briefly disable robotic enemies. Cooldosn but otherwise unlimited use.

Note - Item slots are used up by as many rounds or charges as you choose up to their max. If you fill the item slots with other items you will not get extra grenades or charges. You can, for instance, take 2 regular items and 2 extra proximity mines on a MEC-6.

Defense armors sacrifice some strength and signifgant mobility, as well as item slots, for incredible durability. Combat armors are designed for strength to increase their effectiveness with weaponry and have moderate constitution and dexterity. Finally, support armors have the highest mobility and item slots generally, but aren't as durable or strong as the other variants.

MEC-1 Paladin - Medium general use armor, no specialization. Two item slots. +6 strength, +4 dexterity, +6 constitution
MEC-2 Defender - Medium tank armor equipped with jetboots. 1 item slot. +8 strength, +6 dexterity, +7 constitution
MEC-3 Valiant - Medium combat armor. 2 item slots. +7 strength, +5 dexterity, +6 constitution.
MEC-4 Dauntless - Heavy combat armor. 3 item slots. +12 strength, +6 dexterity, +8 constitution
MEC-5 Devastator - Heavy tank armor with an alien alloy shield. 1 item slot. +10 strength, +2 dexterity, +12 constitution
MEC-6 Vanguard - Medium support armor. 4 item slots. +4 strength, +12 dexterity, +5 constitution
MEC-7 Vindicator - Heavy support armor. 5 item slots. +6 strength, +8 dexterity, +6 constitution

Some good advice here. Another thing you can do: try writing in the sense of alternate dimensions. For instance, everytime you think of something, try imagining what that thing would be like upside down, and how this inverted sense would change their normal senses. Then think of an opposite clone, an evil twin, of this inverted thing would act. This anti-inverted-thing would do everything backwards and upside-down than the normal thing, who would be forwards and right-side-up. The first would be inverted, the second would be backwards, and the original would be normal, whereas the last would be counter-inverted from the original, which would make for an opposite-opposite point of view, both inverted and the same as the original, which is neither opposite nor inverted.

If you're confused by this, that should make your previous block feel insignificant, and now you can write.
You mean like when I made Viktor the world's best dad in Poinsettia's twisted memories?

I have something of a growing concern with the bios I have been receiving. I was concerned with being too restrictive, and felt people would know their limits, so I dropped the character limit. I am concerned now because nearly everyone has doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled their number of characters.

Until it becomes a serious problem, I won't start doing anything major. Just make sure you sit down, and look over your characters, and seriously ask yourself if you can handle the three, four, five, six, or even seven characters you have decided to introduce, which characters will be in the foreground, which in the background, and which you aren't sure you need at all.

Like I said, I want to trust that everyone can set their own limits. But if the RP is saturated with pointless characters that do little to nothing, characters will need to be removed, starting with the ones that are used the least. This might lead to some feeling mistreated, and I want to avoid that. So again, make sure you can handle all of the characters you are making for yourself, and keep in mind that I'll likely only have room for two full-time soldiers per person. Any more will have to be part time (and that includes myself. Only two of my characters are full time soldiers).

If there was an error, it was mine by not setting a more realistic limit. Just, please don't make my mistake lead to this crumbling thanks to too many superfluous characters.

We could start with stating our main characters since there is a lot of confusion on mains.

My mains are Hermes and Sasha. To a lesser extend Vindicta like i did for Elene last season. Addingtion i plan on being mostly relevant in solos or air combat missions as is his role. Irina is a personal facorite while Kallpa and Kelio take on more minor roles.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the newcomers or the two returnees. You guys gave 1-2 chars like last season.

Original eight, old guard, i need feedback.

With how close to my chest I've been playing my cards, all I can say for the moment is that I will have three mains, out of six/seven characters.

We said 1-2 mains. Last season you complained thst you didnt get to do a lot you wanted with Fay and albert. If thsts the case for 2 mains, hiw do you expect to play 3 mains plus four minors?

Yeah, you should probably drop that down to two mains, and consider dropping a minor character.

Last season I had to deal with school, which on average took up ten or so hours of the day. With that out of the way until next year, I should have a great deal more time for writing, and thus, more time to handle all of these characters.

Alright, I'll have to figure out who to (maybe) cut and who to demote then.

I know what part of your problem is here, trying to show different aspects of something. Wink wink. Maybe consider rearranging that priority a little, since the story isnt all about that (something).

To be more clear, its not about how much time an individual has alone. Its also about how much time everyone has. If you make 6 characters (that arent essential staff) thats great, but if you only end up using half them for collabs the others are near or total solo only.

And if half our cast rarely interacts with other characters this isnt much of a roleplay now is it? We didnt come here to write only solos.
