I have another update on Aaron. He says he's still interested but just hasn"t come around to look at the site so if worst comes to worst he can join in a little later but he says he's still interested.

Word to the wise: if you're making a squad and want to have specific classes within it, CONSULT ME. I am a stupid idiot for not saying this, but all the NPC soldiers are pre-assigned classes to make things easier to manage for me.

I need your emails so I can give you access to edit the main google doc and be able to write on my two private ones as well. I briefly entertained the idea of making the main roleplay one editable to anyone but that just invites some saboteur to mess with us.

Not a problem, I'll PM you.

As for the main doc, anyone clicking on the link (probably from Gamigon) can view it, but I've given members the ability to leave comments. That way, if you need to remind me to promote someone, add something, change something, etc, you can do so off to the side.

Incidentally. Forgive me if this is a 'duh' moment, but in case someone doesn't know and didn't bother googling it, the ship we are on, the Einherjar, is a word from Norse Mythology, referring to great warriors who fell in battle, rewarded by being brought by Valkyries to Valhalla, where they... well, basically party, get drunk, and eat from a beast that restores itself everyday, all in wait of the day they would be need, during the end of days of Ragnarok. I guess I could have named the ship the Valhalla, but that's a little to direct. I like Einherjar (even if I keep forgetting how to spell it. Come on, Zombie, it is nine letters, remember!).

Also funny. Einherjar is the only Norse term that comes up as misspelled here. Valkyries, Valhalla, and Ragnarok are all fine.

I'd like to start early, posting the week -1 stuff on June 25th instead of June 27th, but we'll see. If more than 20% of the cast (Three or more people) aren't ready by then I won't give the go ahead.

But if Two or less aren't ready, we'll go ahead and post the intros of those that are ready. The Einherjar will be getting ready to leave for an in-story week, so it won't actually depart until January 22nd, 2044. So anyone that didn't get their intros in the initial wave (or at least some of them) can have those characters arrive between the 15th and 22nd of Jan 2044.

Currently, half of the cast is finished.

Private First Class:
This is what most soldiers start as. Rookies can only use SMGs, Carbines, Rifles, Heavy Rifles, Shotguns and all 3 sidearms to start out with, though they are not as limited with equipment.

I realized that if they can used truncated Shotguns, why the hell can't they use normal ones? Also potentially to do with a mission.

Not so sure Chris is going to be doing the XCOM playthrough or not, based on this. It's close overall, but...

This War of Mine is at 56%, and its split between long war and vanilla EW.

This War of Mine Rp?

That really could work... You can name people and then you can write about what happens each day... That'd be really interesting and much easier to get into for people that aren't fans of X-Com or just don't know the lore. Hmm...
