The alien invasion does somewhat resemble the first contact war.

Anyone ever read the short story about the human ship that makes first contact in a nebula, and neither side is aggressive, but neither side can fully trust the other one, and they're both sacred that they'll have to fight. The solution in the end? They traded ships. That way, they knew they could disable their own tracking systems and delete the location of their home planet, and still leave in things so they could learn about each other.

Then the humans dismantle the ship, replicate it, search the galaxy for residue from their kind of fuel, and SLAUGHTER THEM ALL.

Just thought I should post this because I have been a supporter of the American Armed Forces for a while and will be serving in the future. A lot of my family are veterans and I currently have a close cousin serving in the Air Force as a control tower operator. I won't say anything else to point out my opinion and just let the video say it for me.

Hay Marin, great to hear that your going to be joining the military. And just like you I have some people in my family that were in the military. My uncil was in the Navy until he retired from it, and both my mom and dad were in the Army. So like you I have a lot of respect for the military.

I'm sorry I've been absent for most of the day. Today was my family's Jan-Feb-Mar birthday parties, which included mine. But I'll try and be available as much as I can next week. As I mentioned a few days ago, work is being stupid, so I'll have several more hours, and a couple night shifts at the end of the week. However, I'm off work at two on Monday, and off all day Tuesday and Wednesday, so those would be the prime days for collabs. I'll be working on the next Ethereal mission, as well a few mini-missions to let some of our NPCs catch up (with the help of Gem). Solos? One for Avaritia, one for Morrigan. Possibly one for Jake, possibly one for Jessica.

Well, by family, and mean whole family. Like, my brothers and mom, 700 aunts and uncles, and 44000 cousins and second cousins. So, yeah, all the birthdays for the first three months are celebrated then because there are no major holidays at the beginning of the year (the rest are celebrated when we meet for Easter, the 4th, Xmas, etc.).

So...to give you guys some stuff to read and what not there are TWO...count 'em TWO, new specialty classes for the people who don't have psionics and are wary of gene-mods but still don't want to fall behind. This training isn't for everyone though so be wary of that, the trainers won't train you if you have more than two gene mods or plan to make psionics the main focus of your character. I have a post to coincide with these new classes so be on the lookout for them.

My grandfather and father were both surgeons in the Pakistani army before my father and the rest of my family moved here. Just hearing their stories tells me all that you have to give up so I aplaud you for being a selfless individual.
