Nice work you guys.
Well, one more might be posted if its finished tonight.>mfw Taxor arrives and freaks out at the new thread with copious info.
Also, incase you are wondering: you are allowed to create and submit to the GM (1) race of your creation if you so desire, but it has to be approved before its posted. (And we won't post other custom races until putting other lore stuff in that thread)
Current date will be 2044, 25 years after the end of the war in 2019. The plot isn't completely ironed out yet, but we're going to be defending an elerium colony from a new faction, and possibly other threats and complications. So, this is a twofer, one how many years have passed since X-COM saved the world. And what's the plot of the new story?or do we have a plot.
Not exactly, with history and backstory altered, but design was definitely inspired....
Are those Andalites, Yeerks, and Gedds?
And maybe pirates.Current date will be 2044, 25 years after the end of the war in 2019. The plot isn't completely ironed out yet, but we're going to be defending an elerium colony from a new faction, and possibly other threats and complications.
Making Morrigan appear around... 52. No spring chicken, but could still kick my ass.View attachment 731
Hold on a minute here. A lot of the questions you guys are posing will be answered when we post the other lore, Zombie meant questions about alien races, not all this stuff. There's an age-slowing serum invented by Elene in 2022 that halves the rate of aging. So Atka, who was 25 when that was invented, will age (physically) 11 years instead of 22 visibly. She'll look 36 but actually be 47.
*This only applies after reaching age 18 though.*

Is that so? There is only one course of action. Also, incase you are wondering: you are allowed to create and submit to the GM (1) race of your creation if you so desire, but it has to be approved before its posted. (And we won't post other custom races until putting other lore stuff in that thread)
Reverse discrimination is fun!Yep, this is how it works. Like you said, I was bullied from elementary to my senior year (I was 4'11" until 17), but the two or three that did were remarkably helpful. It inspired me, and I felt like I could be that beacon of helpfulness like my favorite teachers and reduce the tolerance of bullying within reason. I signed up for the education major the second I went into college and took the introduction first. The next few months taught me amazing facts about life and human decency that I never knew: i.e. if you are a white teacher, you will innately feel compulsed to hold black students back, no matter what, because your white blood demands it; not being able to teach students that do not speak English is considered offensive, even if you don't speak their language; and that you must leniently grade kids if they don't like and have no interest in school. Then, the teacher asked the class a very simple question.
If you see a child being beaten up by another child, what should you do?
Now I know what you're thinking. There's violence in front of you! It's obviously 1: well, I don't think so friend. Restraining or even touching a kid is a good way to get sued and fired. Well then, it must be 2. No, no, yelling at kids could damage their psyches, think of the bullies! Also, are you a doctor? I think not, it's not your job to help the other kid. Well, 3 at least, clearly. Wait, are you a psychologist? You don't want to get too close to the kids, someone might think you have other designs after all, especially if you're a male (my professor literally told me this one because I said no decent human would sue me for morally supporting a student). No, the answer is obviously 4, call the security and the clinic and have them fix the problem while you "monitor the situation."
- Physically stop the assailing child
- Verbally stop the assailing child and then tend to the beaten one
- Call the authorities and stay by the beaten one to support them
- Call the authorities and do nothing
I am no longer an education major.
