- Originally the Angels were meant to be shadow-clones of the most prominent six psions of XCOM, but then I realized that idea was predictable.

- Rampel was originally not her cheery self, but rather savvy and cool
- Desperatio escapes from the Arkbird
- The Ethereal Device is actually used for something besides belaying orders and holding conferences

Also, some fun-facts about the Angels: Their solo post titles each had a portion of an 'I AM' boast, ripping off the Evangelion fanfic Nobody Dies. The full boast was:
I AM. Through the license of he who is known as I AM, we have arrived. Though we must sneak across this Base Earth on our blessed quest, we have come. Nations shall fall with our passing. A great congregation will spring up behind us. We shall make shepherds out of men, and guide them to a brighter future. For when we rise to strike, it is with FORTY THOUSAND FISTS! When we see the Path to the greatest future, it is with FORTY THOUSAND EYES! We are the light within your bleak souls. We are the Angels of Despair. The Victory of God. We are the line of Hodiel, and we have arrived.
In addition, the names of the last two angel-themed clones to show up (Israfel and Bardiel) are ripped off of Evangelion. Yes, throw tomatoes as much as you like, too late for that now.
