I try to respond when I can, and I can't speak for everyone, but sometimes I can't read things right away and don't feel like posting two days later, sometimes I have nothing relevant to say, and sometimes I'm just too busy with work and collabs.

But if we are going to be open about this as Taxor and Gem, and sorry if I sound defensive, but... sometimes I get the impression about 95% of my posts are either not read or skimmed over because that is about how often no one says anything, including the GM of this thing. My solo with Alex crying her heart out over feeling useless? Practically nothing. The four missions I did in a row, one all by myself? Not a thing. Brigid is bed ridden and Jack talks about a family few people know if? Only comment was Frost saying Brigid is cute.

And those two posts with Avaritia plotting to betray his own people and talking to a very messed up Sunny? I specifically asked for comments on those. I practically pleaded for them. And not a single person said anything. I even went to Gem and voiced concern, and nothing came of it.

So... I don't know what to say. I guess my overall point is, just because some comments are lacking, don't assume no one is reading because it puts in my head that if you don't comment on my post, I'm gonna think you don't read mine.

I was asking if people read things, way to not answer the question and drag this way of-topic. Now I'm pretty mad.

Look, there's something you need to understand here. I don't have to do this. I don't have to spend so much of my free time creating content for this story, planning out missions, plotting out story threads both large and small. I do it because I'm under the impression that you guys enjoy doing this as much as me. But comments like this... people continually... and, and hell, I say this for the concerns Tax voiced last night too, when people continually have complaints and attack one another and overall don't seem to be having fun, I really do question why I do this. That ultimatum I gave awhile ago wasn't a one time "let's pledge to do better and then forget Gem said anything". It's an ongoing expectation.

But there's no point in doing better if people aren't having fun.

I suppose 'angry' isn't the right word, since I'm just tired of the same pattern of irritations. It defies common sense to not get worn out by it.

I don't remember what I said to you about your concerns that people hadn't read the avarita posts Zmby, but it is a flat out lie to act like I didn't try and address it.

I was seeing if anyone reads my things, including you. And thus the reason I previously said nothing. Sorry for having a concern, one you complained about me voicing instead of addressing it. It is amazing considering you could have literally calmed my fears in thirteen words;

"Don't worry, I read your things, I just don't have time to comment."

I'll go back to saying nothing, letting my worry and concern fester inside until it eventually pops.

And for the record, here was the entirety of what was said over my concern:

Zmby - You think anyone read the Avarita post? Didn't feel like it. No one said, "What's he up to?" or "Was that Sunny?" or "What were those weird lines? Who said that?" or "Was he talking about Nick? Was that Nick's last name?"

Sigh... I'm being to sensitive, I know...

Gem - I mean, few people commented on some of my posts, so I dunno.

Zmby - I try to. And I loved them, btw.

I never really get to comment on Zmby or Tax posts myself because they show me a lot of their content in advance. I usually do so in convo if I have time. That's not an excuse anyone else has.

Thanks dude. Had to do something while you guys were having your fun defending your lives and home from Mutons.

... mind you that sounded much more fun in my head.

I am very excited to see what you guys have cooked up. I will say that.

Alright I have to say... quite simply, I've had enough. This is the second time the Base Defense has been delayed and my time has been wasted.

Last time it was the drama with Marine that kept me from setting up the missions.

This time it was Frost and Dahl's issues. The former slept in as he has many times in the past, and again cites his personal issues upsetting him too much to get out of bed. Look, my friend, I get that you're having personal problems. But they've been going on for weeks, and you're not able to reliably participate in the RP - let alone go on missions. Until you can get yourself together @Frostlich1228, you're no longer an active member.

I am going to take steps to remove dead weight in this RP so that it doesn't drown and fail like VoF did. I want to see LoE succeed. I'm letting Dahl off the hook because he's been so reliable and active that this is merely a frustrating blip on any otherwise shiny career. But Frost needs to go for now.

And in a similar vein, I no longer am considering @BMPixy an active member. He hasn't done anything in the story since June 25th, over two months ago other than coming on that one small mission in Chile. And while I cannot abide people with soldier characters not making it for missions, I cannot accept someone only going on missions and doing nothing otherwise. I get the sense from Pixy he doesn't care anymore, and you know what? I'm not even mad about that. That's fine, Pixy. Focus on what you enjoy. If you don't enjoy LoE, leave it to those that do.

The Active Roster of Liberation of Earth now contains myself and:
@ZombieSplitter53 (whom I apologize to for yesterday, since you've been producing great content regardless of the challenges life throws at you)
@MarineAvenger (whom I'll be watching closely, but I have hope that you'll get more invested after that awesome solo you put out)
@Dahlexpert (A highly reliable member, even considering today; no one is perfect)
@Taxor_the_First (An incredible solo writer who does his damndest to participate regardless of timezones)
@Black0ut (Despite your inconsistency early on, you've been very active with the other RPers and I appreciate your effort)

I've had a good day, if only by virtue of nothing bad happening. Been kicking back a bit while I'm waiting for the base defence to finish - figuring out who I can set up a collab with afterwards, and how. Aside from that, pretty lazy recently.
