No losses on Portent, well played! :eek: But that furthers my worries that no new soldiers will or need to be recruited in-game :(

Since it's pertinent, I certainly wouldn't mind coming off the bench. It doesn't seem like the Commander will need to be recruiting any time soon, but Portent is this week, so I was going to hold off on complaining about that :p.

Just wanted to say I'm loving the ME playthroughs. I like how you're doing the side stuff and making judgement calls on Para/Rene things. I usually played the same way, doing side objectives to make up the Charm points I lost on cursing out the Council. :P

My previous recommendation was one journal and then one post (collab/conversation/dialogue) for the sake of having "events" between roleplayers and then having an actual, solely introspective journal. I can still see where he's coming from with the limit, though.

A lot of the journals look good so far. :) My only concern is that it looks like Sir Jenkins of Skyrangertown is MIA.

I always assumed that XCOM soldiers lived their lives very normal-ish when it came to the minute details (they can text and e-mail each other through some kind of LAN set-up, roam about in their sector of the facility, etc) so they would be more receptive to being cut off from the world and more...
