Hey guys I got bored and posted some entries to act as some CD for Desmond's character. Let me know how I did.
They're great. We need individual pieces in addition to co-ops and mission logs to build character of course, so it's always good to see little additions like this.

I really like it. Actually, I was following it fairly quickly after they got posted. Desmond's definitely conflicted and that'll make for some interesting interactions. A bit out there, but if you wanted to, Thomas might notice him passed out in there, since he does work the night shift, but if you just want Desmond to have done those things in isolation and not be noticed that's cool too.
I was counting on someone finding him and taking him to the med bay and just have him pass it off as working himself to exhaustion ;);) nudge nudge

I wonder what Marine is trying to tell us by that?

By the way, as a public service announcement: My two characters are both soldiers, Atka Ipiktok and Modya Dragomirov.
Thomas Burrick is a minor character I'm going to be using for a niche role, so don't expect him to show up more often than Modya, whom I hope to do something with soon; we'll see what options come up for him.

*reads through the Scarlet/Ammelia collaboration* All I can say is...brutal. And I don't think command would be happy to find out there was some 'domestic abuse' per say going on in the base.

Just reminding everyone that this game will be played with a sense of realism, with realistic consequences, especially for characters that have already been warned face to face. If Ammelia ends up reporting this to the Commander, Scarlet will likely end up returning from his first mission to an escort of guards bringing her to the Brig.

I want people to realize, that here is a reason why scarlet did what she did to Ammelia, Scarlet sees Ammelia as a naïve and pretty stupid person, and she is currently questioning the commanders judgment for hiring some on that has no combat experience, and she is thinking that the commander was forced to hire Ammelia.

I understand her motivations entirely, and I give you props for good role-playing.

I'm just reminding you that the base has rules, rules that Scarlet isn't used to because she is used to working alone, and violation of those rules has consequences. Remember in season three when Persephone was punished for punching a scientist, even after he was discharged for inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment? And trust me when I say that Axton was lucky that Ayame was too kind-hearted, and too proud, to say anything about their encounter.

As far as the Commander's reason for hiring Ammelia, as I implied during the various interviews, soldiers that were hired for combat experience despite behavioral problems can thank Bradford, while those hired because they seem trustworthy and disciplined but lack experience can thank the Commander. And during the commencement speech, it was heavily implied that Ammelia was hand picked by Morrigan, so you can imagine how irritable she might be finding out one of her personal picks was pummeled, especially with her temper.

I'm writing Emily's arrival on base today, if anyone's interested in bunking with her, message me. I'll have 1-3 spaces in my room.

Yeah, that encounter escalated very quickly... But despite scarlet wanted to make Ammelia tougher, She went about it in a way only a crazy person would, so Congrats for staying in character! :p

Thank you very much, OU and if Ammelia accept Scarlet's offer, she will go through some tough training.:D
