The first mission has been posted, and Dahl is (presumably) writing how it pans out. Let me know if you like my style of displaying it, and if there is anything you think I should add in the future that you think I missed.

I think it looks great. The friendly body count being a mission parameter looked a little odd, but obviously that's a one-off given the mission at hand, so meh.

Don't worry, the body count thing was only for this mission.
I am now done with the mission, hope you guys like it.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but was Scarlet quoting Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z with that "Do you feel fear?" line?

As another public service announcement, if anyone wants to do a collaboration with me this evening or on the weekend, feel free to ask, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. (Since I'm short a certain person I usually rp with outside of GLG today, I've had nothing better to do than lurk here and elsewhere most of this day anyway :p)

Yes, I thought that line would fit Scarlet's mood.

This likely goes without saying, but if you haven't already, start thinking about what kind of specialist your character will be after their first promotion. Try to think about what would suit them best. For example, Desmond likes to hang back and support others, so I was thinking either sniper or support. With Ammelia's unique eyesight, she'd probably be more suited for a front line support or maybe an assault. And with his history, Modya will obviously be a rocketeer. You're obviously free to pick whatever class you want, but let's not all lean towards one or two classes, please. We don't want five scouts and twelve rocketeers (I exaggerate, but you catch my drift).

As an added help, since I'm giving so much freedom on missions (besides the more structured 'tutorial' mission), think about squadmates that would compliment yours. You can even give me a name and class for up to three of them, as long as you remember that they are not your main characters and are still 'disposable', and will occasionally be cycled out for character classes that are more suited for the mission, or player characters for co-ops. That being said, having familiar Redshirts will make your writing easier, as well as my job easier since I wouldn't have to come up with a whole new set of characters on every mission.

I have a post I'm working on now for my least used character so far, and then I'll be working on the next mission. Who will be on it will likely be chosen at random (where's my D10?). I have a long, boring ten hour shift at work today, so if somebody what to do a collab with me, and doesn't mind doing it with me in a conversation and waiting for my slow responses, let me know.

And if you do want to name your own squad, for our more eccentric characters, don't make them as crazy as your character. You know who I'm talking to. We have enough Batman villians running the asylum as is...

Yeah, I had planned for Atka to be a scout, so I'm kinda conflicted now that Scarlet is supposed to be one.
(To be fair, I specified that in her biography)
