Anyway, I'm surprised that you got a long collab done on your birthday. Dedication. Sets up Sunny and Nick really well in the ship, as well as touching the surface of Nick's past and showcasing his anger issues (him and Yakone could have a talk about that, mmm). Sunny's turning out to be different than what I was expecting. She's more like her SoD self that I thought she'd be, mainly because - as discussed in the post itself - she's emotionally stunted. Her having the same sort of eyes as Yaralria is an interesting development, and a cool continuity nod.
